Meditation-health link is talk topic

"Compassion Meditation: A Mind-Body Practice with Health Benefits" will be Wednesday, March 16 at noon in the Cox Hall Ballroom.

Researcher Brendan Ozawa-de Silva will discuss his work on the mind-body connection, specifically meditation and health. Ozawa-de Silva researches cognitive science and contemplative practices.

His 30-minute presentation will be followed by a question and answer segment.

This brown-bag lunch session is free and open to the public. It is part of a series of health presentations on knowledge, skills and motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle, presented by the Emory/Georgia Tech Center for Health Discovery and Well-Being.
