Southern Spaces features multimedia on Native American scholarship

Southern Spaces, an online peer-reviewed journal based at Emory, has published a multimedia essay centered around a conversation among Native American scholars held at Emory this spring.

"Cosmopolitanism and Nationalism in Native American Literature" featured a roundtable discussion moderated by Winship Distinguished Professor of English Michael Elliott. Craig Womack, associate professor of English at Emory, and three major Native American scholars from Harvard and California Polytechnic universities and Sarah Lawrence College participated.

Visit Southern Spaces to watch an edited video and read comments highlighting the panelists' conversation using the journal’s new embedded video player.

Southern Spaces is supported by the Robert W. Woodruff Library and features regions, places and cultures of the American South and their global connections.
