The Emory University Media Council governs University-wide student publications, serves as a resource board to advocate ethical journalism, and oversees student video production and programming. The Council also manages the common use of computer equipment, approves budgets, and deals other issues related to the general operation of University-wide student publications and video. Membership includes representatives from the Edge, The Emory Wheel, The Fever, The Fire This Time, The Lullwater Review, The Phoenix, EmoryVision, and The Spoke, as well as student and faculty members at large. Many of the publications consistently win high ratings in state and national student press contests. For more information, contact Media Council President Bret Kadison at 727-6176, or Student Publications Adviser Richard Daigle, Box 23968, 727-6181.
