For the past years, I have offered NMR application short course for graduate students and postdocs at Emory. It has proved to be a very good and practical course for those who are using or going to use NMR as their research tool.

This year I am going to offer the same course for those who are interested in using new NMR techniques in their research and routine analysis. If you are interested in this course, please stop by Room 211 ( NMR Center at Chemistry Department) to sign-up. If you are a graduate student or postdoc at Emory, please consult your supervisor before you sign-up, since there will be a registration fee charged to his/her NMR usage account for the course materials.

INOVA600 NMR Users:

There is a noise signal at 118.62 ppm reference to CDCl3 77.0ppm. So far I am unable to locate the sources ---- cell phones, motors, air condition and radio stations etc. If you have a peak in that area, you could acquire a little longer, the minimum 64 scans will get rid of the noise. (See attached spectra that are arrayed from 1 scan to 128 scans).
