Introduction
On March 20, 1996, more than 50 overseas Chinese attendees of the 37th
Experimental Nuclear Resonance Conference(ENC) held a meeting in Asolomar,
California and agreed to found Oversea Chinese Magnetic Resonance Association,
hereinafter referred to as OCMRA.
Chapter 1. Mission
1.1 To improve member's communication and friendship, exchange research
information and experience in the magnetic resonance field.
1.2 To promote the member's academic level in the magnetic resonance areas.
1.3 To enhance the academic exchanges among China and other countries.
Chapter 2. Organization
2. OCMRA is a non-profit private organization and serves as a liaison for
overseas Chinese magnetic resonance research and application professionals.
Chapter 3. Administration
3.1 Membership: Membership is open to anyone who is an overseas Chinese
undertaking magnetic resonance research or application.
3.2 Administration: OCMRA is organized by OCMRA council, the members of which
are elected by OCMRA's annual conference.
3.3 Annual conference: Annual Conference will be held at the same place and
the same time as the ENC. The program of the conference includes council member
election, reporting the council's administration and activities, etc.
3.4 Fee: No membership fee is required at present. But donations are
encouraged to cover the administration costs.
3.5 Registration: OCMRA will be registered in Atlanta, Georgia.
Chapter 4. Activities
4.1 Newsletter: OCMRA Newsletter is currently a non-periodic electronic
publication. It will report member-related academic activities, research
progresses, conferences and help information for members. OCMRA Newsletter will
be accessed through information network, such as WWW.
4.2 Homepage: OCMRA Homepage will be available on WWW.
4.3 Academic Exchange: OCMRA will organize or participate magnetic academic
exchange activities.
Chapter 5. Others
5. This draft will be announced, revised and voted by the first OCMRA
Conference, which will be held in Orlando, Florida in 1997. Any further revision
and supplement should be made by the the OCMRA council meeting.
