Eagles take 5th in Directors’ Cup. Three cheers for Emory athletics! The results are in, and Emory placed fifth among 413 Division III schools in the annual Sears Directors’ Cup, awarded to the best overall athletics program. It is the fourth time in seven years the University has finished in the Top 10. Emory’s ranking was helped by Top 10 finishes by several athletics teams, including men’s and women’s tennis (both second), men’s swimming and diving (third), women’s swimming and diving (third), softball (third), and women’s track and field (ninth).
