Next EMCF grant deadline is Nov. 1
Three times a year, the Emory Medical Care Foundation (EMCF) offers research grants of up to $25,000 to medical faculty who spend at least half their time in the Grady Health System. Preference is given to faculty members in their first 10 years at Grady. The next deadline is Nov. 1

Call for proposals: Outdoor chair sculpture

As the visual component of the semester-long celebration of the opening of the Donna and Marvin Schwartz Center for Performing Arts, Emory is hosting an Outdoor Chair Sculpture Exhibition. The chair-themed sculptures will be placed around the Schwartz Center and throughout campus.

Weight Watchers begins new session
Beginning Friday, Oct. 4, Crawford Long Hospital (CLH) will begin a 15-week Weight Watchers session. Meetings will be held Fridays from noon to 1 p.m. in the CLH outpatient center boardroom on the third floor. Cost is $159, which can be paid in three installments of $59 each.
