Carter warns against solo attack on Iraq: Once again, former President Jimmy Carter offered frank responses to any and all questions posed to him during his annual Town Hall meeting with Emory students, held Sept. 26 in the P.E. Center. Carter touched on subjects ranging from Cuba to the 2000 presidential election, to the current economic slowdown, to his own memories of his father. Asked what he thought of a possible war with Iraq, Carter said, “If the United States should decide to attack unilaterally, it would be a devastating mistake.” Click here or above for the full story and photos.
