Pride Awards to be conferred March 2
This year’s Pride Awards are set for March 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the Miller-Ward Alumni House. The GALA Leadership Award, Chesnut LGBT Person of the Year Award, and Studies in Sexualities Essay Contest awards will be presented.
LGBT alumni and 2010 LGBT graduates will also be honored at the event, which is free and open to the public.
Light refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. with the awards program starting at 7 p.m.; a dessert reception will follow.

The awards are co-sponsored by the Office of LGBT Life, Emory GALA and the President’s Commission on Sexuality, Gender Diversity and Queer Equality.
