Can lawyers be happy?

A sociologist and a psychiatrist team up to explore the topic "Happiness for Lawyers: Prevail in the Pursuit of Happiness," Wednesday, March 31, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Emory Law’s Tull Auditorum.

Corey Keyes, associate professor of sociology, and W. Edward Craighead, Rex Fuqua Chair in Child Psychiatry and director of the Child and Adolescent Mood Program, will help participants understand their personal level of happiness and risk for unhappiness, and offer guidance on how to flourish despite hardships presented in life.

The event, exclusively for Emory Law students and alumni, is free but registration is required. A reception will follow. It is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Law and Religion and the law school.
