Rushdie: Writing for the young in age and spirit

“Wonderlands: Writing for Younger Readers and Young-At-Heart Adults” is the title of a public lecture to be given by Salman Rushdie on Sunday, March 21, in Glenn Memorial Auditorium at 5 p.m.

Tickets for the public event, which are on sale, are $5 for Emory staff, faculty, students and alumni and $10 for the general public.

Rushdie, Emory’s Distinguished Writer-in-Residence, is the author of numerous outstanding novels, short stories and essays. He has also written two books for the young and young-at-heart, “Haroun and the Sea of Stories,” published in 1990, and “Luka and the Fire of Life,” expected to be out this fall.
