On Thursday, Oct. 20, Jeffrey Arnold, chairman and chief architect of ShareCare and founder of WebMD, will present "Sharing @ccountability through Online Care."
The lecture will begin at 5 p.m. in the auditorium of the Woodruff Health Sciences Center Administration Building, with a reception to follow. Admission is free, but RSVP is requested.
Arnold is internationally renowned for using the Internet to simplify the search for quality health information and to provide consumers with tools to make smart health choices in an effort to live healthier lives. Before founding ShareCare along with Mehmet Oz, Arnold was the founder and CEO of WebMD and the founder of HowStuffWorks.com, one of the largest high-quality content destinations on the web.
"Sharing @ccountability through Online Care" is presented as part of the Woodruff Health Sciences Center's Future Makers lecture series, which brings people of vision in science, health care, government, business and the arts to the Emory campus.
