August 12, 2019 The Mercury 300 was shutdown and will be removed. The new Bruker 400 will be installed soon.
November 10, 2014 INOVA500 has been fully engerzied. The five gauss line is about 2.75 meters from the magnet center. Please do not cross the safty line. The inova400 is ready to use for everyone who has been trained or authorized. It is still drifting but it is good enough for routine use. The inova600 II in room 142 will be de-energized soon, please remove your data or transfer your data to the server as soon as possible. This instrument will not move to the new lab, until I could find a proper magnet for the console. 2H, Al27, B11, V51, Na23, P31, extremly high/low temperatures, and very long term experiments will not be available until the inova500 is fully installed. November, 4, 2014 The inova600 and inova500 have been energized at 90% power, the 5 gauss line is at middle of the walkway. If you are using Mercury 300, inova400 or VNMRs 400, please use the front door. Do not go through these two big magnets. They will erase your credit card information, and cause permanent damage of your cell phone. Unauthorized users are not allowed to go through the walkway. November 3, 2014 INOVA400 is read for sign up --- Authorized users only. User ID with the -t is not allowed to this machine now. The magnet is still drifting, October 31, 2014 If you have not use your ID card to access the door, please check it today. We are going to close the door during the day next week. The inova600 II in room 142 will be de-energized and removed November 15, 2014. This NMR will not be re-installed because the magnet is too old and consumes too much liquid helium. If you have NMR data stored in the host computer, please move the data to the server as soon as you could. After Novemeber, 15, the computer is no longer available for users. The inova400 is energized, but the drift is too large to be usable until 11/10/2014.
October 29, 2014 If you want to renew your MNOVA license (You filled form already), please email me: your name , host name, user name and computer IP address. if your name, user name or host name did not match on the file, you will not have the license. October 28, 2014 MNOVA license server is working! If you filled the request form, you can send me an email to request the new one. If you have not done so, you can fill the form on line: This is the link to the request form: http://goo.gl/YU348T. Check with your boss first. The license fee will be charged to his/her account. Warning: In these few days, there are only three NMRs available (Mercury 300, V400 and inova600II), please do not oversign up your NMR time. The sign up policy will be enforced closely. If your sign up account is not working, then you have done something wrong, you have to contact Dr. Wang or Eric to re-install your account. After you finish up your NMR experiment, please log off and sign off the logbook, if you do not done so, leave your account open, then your account will be charged. October 27, 2014 Pat is updating the MNOVA software license, If it works on my machine, I will email you the new one. October, 27, 2014 I tested the MNOVA license server, it is still not working. October 24, 2014 The MNOVA license server is down, so your Mnova NMR processing software may not working. IT department has been notified and they have put Gallagher Jr, Patrick <pgalla2@emory.edu> to work on it. Keep checking the status.

October 17, 2014 300 and 400 are ready for sign up now. Power is back on. October 17, 2014 No NMRs until 11:00 am because of power shutdown. October 16, 2014 Since there are only three active NMRs available in the next three weeks, please follow the sign up policy closely. During the day, 30 minutes is maxium allowed. Special request for more than four hours will be denied during the day. Do not oversign your time. October, 15 2014 Friday, October 17, 2014 from 8:00AM to 10:00 AM, All NMRs will be done, because of power down during the time. All NMRs will be back to service around 11:00 am. No more NMRs at 211. October, 14, 2014 The mercury and VNMRS400 are ready, you can book them online as before. Also the inova600II is available until middle of November, but the signup policy All authorized users should get send an email to Dr. Wang (bwang2@emory.edu) to provide the following information: Your name, research group, your NMR user ID and your Emory ID code (it is on the back of your ID card). University security office will check the ID and setup the access code for you (to enter the New NMR center). If you still have the -t with your NMR user ID, then you can talk to Eric to schedule a checkout, or use the machine during the day only until you can checkout. October 7, 2014 Inova600 will be moved next week 10/14/2014. October 3, 2014 Mercury 300 is up running. welcome to RM170 to use it.
