I arrived Lincoln, Nebraska in January 19, 1987. That was a very cold day. When I got off the air plan, Chen Donghai has been waiting there for a while. Since there wrere very few Chinese traveling to Lincoln at that time, he has no problem to find me. After I found my luggage, we went to his car. It was a very big car, I never saw this kind car before. He told me it was only $400 dollars. I thought it was a very expensive car. Few minutes late, we were on the interstate high way. I feel I was dreaming. I have arrived a very strange place, and my new life will start again.
Lincoln, NE is a small college town, there are only 120,000 people, most of them are students. The local people love football.
