COVID-19 Testing

Emory provides two types of COVID-19 tests for all students, faculty, and staff: Screening Test for those who are asymptomatic (no signs of COVID-19) and Diagnostic Test for those who are symptomatic (showing signs of COVID-19) or possibly exposed to COVID-19.

Please do not visit the Emory screening locations if you are symptomatic.

Travel and Testing

Those traveling are responsible for understanding any testing requirements for upcoming travel. Student Health Service’s travel page and the Georgia Department of Public Health list options for scheduling destination-specific tests. Please plan ahead should you need to test before traveling.

RADx Program

Emory University participates in an NIH-funded research program called the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx) program. This program is charged with expanding access to COVID-19 tests that are fast and accurate. RADx participants receive a free PCR test and a gift card for their time. Participants must be symptomatic and should schedule their appointments in advance.
