What Do I Do If . . .

Emory University strongly recommends following CDC guidelines for campus members who have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been recently exposed.

If You Test Positive for COVID-19 or Have Been Exposed*

If you are experiencing symptoms, you should isolate and get tested. If you test positive, follow CDC guidance on Isolation and Precautions for People with COVID-19.

*What does exposed mean?

Please review CDC guidelines on how to determine your risk of exposure. Follow the steps listed above if you were at increased risk of exposure to COVID-19 or have been told by a health care provider or public health authority that you were exposed.

Sharing Positive Test Results

While it is no longer mandatory to report COVID-19-positive tests, students can choose to share positive test results through the COVID-19 Reporting form on the Return to Campus portal. By doing so, your school will be notified that you are self-isolating according to CDC guidelines and cannot attend class. Revised instructions to support this now-elective process will be rolled out over the coming weeks.
