Emory University’s Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Life engages the University’s community of global citizens, learners and leaders to create a supportive, affirming and just campus environment for students of all genders and sexual identities. To that end, the Office facilitates educational programs and trainings for faculty, staff, and students; provides support for individual students and student groups; maintains a space to build community and distribute resources; facilitates outreach to meet the development needs of students; and serves as a leader in the development of best practices in LGBT support services in higher education.
