Scholarships
There are a number of scholarships available for LGBT students across the country. Here is a list of Emory, local and national scholarships and awards. Please note that some of the scholarships and awards are for students attending specific institutions.
Emory
GALA Leadership Award
Emory University's LGBT Alumni Group, GALA (Gay and Lesbian Alumni), and the Division of Campus Life will begin awarding the GALA Leadership Award beginning in 2009. This award will be given to an undergraduate student who has demonstrated leadership to positively impact the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer communities at Emory University. Applications are due December 5, 2008. The award be presented to the winner on March 2, 2009 at Emory's annual Pride Banquet.
