Inclement Weather Hours

Emory University is closed Wednesday and Thursday, January 17-18, due to severe weather conditions. Although the University is closed, the following resources on campus remain available:


DUC-ling: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
SAAC Café: 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Kaldi's at the Depot: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Starbucks: 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Woodruff Residential Café: 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Student Health Services on the Atlanta campus will be closed and will not re-open until the university resumes normal operating hours on Friday morning, January 19. If you have an appointment at Student Health Services on Wednesday or Thursday, please check your Emory e-mail for rescheduling information. 

There will be a Student Health Services physician/nurse practitioner on call (during days of closure that may occur due to inclement weather conditions) for urgent problems or concerns. To reach the on-call physician, call 404.727.7551, select option 0 (zero) to have the operator page the physician.

For true emergencies, please go to the nearest hospital emergency room or call 911.


WoodPEC: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
SAAC: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
All Recreation and Wellness programming has been cancelled.


Residential buildings are open and fully staffed. Residential plans are being handled in a targeted communication to residents.


Some services will be unavailable and some facilities closed until the university resumes normal operations. These include mail services (both Few Hall and SAAC locations).
