President Chace to participate in public forum

President Bill Chace will serve as a panelist and guest speaker at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's (AJC) public forum, "DeKalb From All Sides," from 7:30-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29.

The forum, free and open to the public, will take place at Fernbank Museum of Natural History, 767 Clifton Road. Issues to be discussed include schools, MARTA, diversity and growth.

Cole to deliver keynote address at national teleconference

Johnnetta Cole, Presidential Distinguished Professor in Anthropology, African American Studies and Women's Studies, will serve as the keynote speaker for the "Women's Live, Women's Voices, Women's Solutions: Shaping a National Agenda for Women in Higher Education" Conference at the University of Minnesota.

The three-day event focuses on the role of all women in a higher education setting. It will be teleconferenced, and Emory will broadcast Cole's keynote address on Monday, March 27, at 1 p.m. in the Jones Room of Woodruff Library. Another portion of the conference will be broadcast Wednesday, March 29 at 11 a.m., in the Jones Room.

Job fair planned

On Friday, April 7, Emory will host its second Research Job Fair. The event will take place in Cox Hall to accommodate more hiring officials and applicants. Last year, the fair drew 200 medical research professionals.
