Benefits changes still under consideration: From left, Alice Miller, John Temple and Bill Chace present the University administration’s proposals to change the employee benefits package at a public meeting, March 4 in White Hall. The event was one of five meetings held to share information and listen to employee input—which was in no short supply. All five meetings were well attended (three were standing room only), and Emory faculty and staff were not shy in voicing their opposition to the proposed changes. No final decisions have been announced. Click here or above for the full story. Photo by Jon Rou.

Undergraduate course on 'eye-opening' experience: Henry Edelhauser created “Biology of the Eye,” the only undergraduate course taught by faculty members in the School of Medicine. The class—Biology 475—features not only Emory Eye Center faculty but Eye Center facilities, as it meets in the same auditorium where ophthalmology Grand Rounds are held.
