Georgia is flu leader; Emory adds shots

Georgia is leading the country with reported flu activity this December and Emory is responding with an additional flu shot clinic, Tuesday, Dec. 14.

The clinic will be held at the Dobbs University Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"It is still not too late to get a flu shot to protect yourself during the holidays and this year's upcoming flu season," says Michael Huey, executive director of Student Health and Counseling Services.

Flu shots are free for benefits-eligible University and Healthcare employees. They cost $26 for non-Emory employees over the age of 17.  An Emory ID and personal insurance card are required for verification at the clinic.
