Institutional Equity and Compliance

Emory's Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) ensures Emory University's compliance with laws pertaining to equal opportunity, Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Act, Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Department of Equity and Civil Rights Compliance (DECRC) also monitors and executes the university's Equal Opportunity Policy.

Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (Clery Act Report)

Emory University’s Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report contains important crime statistics for the prior three calendar years for all of Emory’s campuses. In addition to Emory's crime statistics, you will find information about security policies, sexual misconduct policies, alcohol/drug and other policies, fire statistics, fire safety, and a comprehensive description of resources available to assist the campus community.

The report is published annually by Emory in accordance with the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) and the Higher Education Opportunity Act.
