First-Year Students

First-year students can choose between two starting points: Emory College on our Atlanta campus, and Oxford College, 38 miles east of Atlanta. You can apply to either or both through the Common App or QuestBridge application.

Transfer Students

We welcome about 100 transfer students to Emory each year. If you’re interested in our nursing program, you’ll apply directly to the School of Nursing. Otherwise, you can use the Common App.

International Students

International students must meet all admission criteria as other students, demonstrate English proficiency, and provide financial documentation.

The School of Public Health offers more than 30 master’s and doctoral programs, each with specific admission requirements and application processes. 

If you’re interested in a PhD program in public health, you’ll apply through the Laney Graduate School. Otherwise, you’ll apply through the centralized application service for schools of public health (SOPHAS).
